Sumner beach

On Saturday I thought a stroll along the beach at sunset might be a nice thing to do even though it was cold with a bitter wind. I got down there just in time to catch the sun before it dropped behind the mountains. The sun was huge and so amazingly bright. I was suprised to see so many people on the beach. Families with dogs and kids running about. It was just such a lovely sight in the awesome light of the final glimse of the sun.
Tomorrow is Silly Tuesday and will be my last post as Silly Mama!
Silly Papa john4jack will take on the job until I return from my travels. Thank you all for being so wonderful. I will post when I can. I'll be away for 2 months visiting Mellofello, MrsAmber and Bro.

For those of you that don't know the origin of Silly Tuesday here is a bit if a run down....It started on this day. My thoughts were as follows......
Monday is the start of the week...
Wednesday is the middle of the week.....
Thursday is nearly Friday and Friday is the start of the weekend:-)
I know some people work weekends as I am one of them:-)
But its still the weekend BUT......
What is Tuesday???? Its just a Silly Day that means nothing....so thats where ST came from:-)

Well next Saturday - as I said to Bro only yesterday - you will be having a BBQ with us as the sun sets!! What a lot of travelling you will have to do in the meantime though.
The picture is lovely, of course...although it looks more like a river than a beach to me..I think the trees/bushes make it so (for me)..it looks like the Nile or the Ganges! But it is very early and I've just woken up! Take care! xxxxx

@MrsAmber: Oh and I can't wait to be there!!! The journey is sooo long but well worth it:-)
Its actually the start of the estuary and the trees are on the Brighton Spit on the other side.

This was well worth the effort of putting up with the wind and cold - super shot! Not sure where you will be travelling in England, but if you ever get anywhere close to Norwich, please send my very best regards (my Dad was born there and I simply love the place).
