I thought it was a giant human chess. Very interesting picture with a great contrast! What about getting a close-up of a pawn or bishop? Maybe next Sunday... 16 Apr 2009 9:35am @Daniel: You and djedfre both said the same about the people being the pieces....I can see this and it would be fun....maybe I should suggest this!!! Craig@Random Ramblings from Herts, United KingdomI think it's a great shot, the people themselves appear as playing pieces! 16 Apr 2009 9:48am MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyFine capture, the people look like chess-men from a different manufacturer. :-) 16 Apr 2009 9:54am @MadScientist: Thats it!!! Too many of you wonderful people suggest people as chess men...I have to suggest this to those who play....we'll see what happens:-) MrsAmber from West Wickham, United KingdomVery good shot. It's your move... :) 16 Apr 2009 12:40pm JoeB from Brampton, CanadaThat's a tough game the pieces must be the weight of a bag of potatoes, the longer the more straining. :D 16 Apr 2009 12:44pm Charles from New York, United StatesGreat street shot. I love the lighting effect in the shot. 16 Apr 2009 3:28pm Mellofello from Bromley, United KingdomExcellent, I thought I recognised it in thumbnail. Would have liked to have played when I was there - but such large pieces I thought I might start a kind of 'domino-slide' (if you know what I mean) in the middle of a game should I or the piece fall over. Love the title and composition, Liner. 16 Apr 2009 5:05pm Leena from Joensuu, FinlandThe photo is enjoyable and I think too, that B&W makes it special. 16 Apr 2009 5:43pm @Leena: I know what you mean Leena...I think it is difficult to see the game as a whole but I suppose the more you play on a board like this the more you would get used to it.
