Nor'west clouds

Posted by Linerberry (Christchurch, New Zealand) on 9 April 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Hay all:-)
I decided to change my series of sunsets as I realised how 'fiery' they really looked and in light of the recent bush fires in Australia and out of respect I thought they were probably not appropriate.
Thank you for all your comments and I hope you like the Nor'west clouds that appeared the next day:-)

They are spectacles of nature, they don't care whether they generate fear or blessing. These are quite spectacular, revealing the whole dynamics of air.

oh my Liners these clouds are amazing!!!!! wow!!!
would love your fiery sunsets soon though! I went up to Marysville, a town that was completely destroyed in the fires, the other day as the only building left standing - the bakery- was having their re-opening and they wanted visitors so that they might be able to survive financially and it was a pretty tough experience but it was nice to be able to support them - even if only in a small way.
