Posted by Linerberry (Christchurch, New Zealand) on 12 January 2009 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

But its still the weekend BUT......
What is Tuesday???? Its just a Silly Day that means nothing....so thats where ST came from:-)

Must be an a great place to live in !

12 Jan 2009 7:46am

@zOOm: Thank you Flo, I have yet to tidy it up but I hope to get a bed in there with tv and facilities for making drinks, will be good in the summer for friends so stay:-)

grouser from Ludlow, United Kingdom

Looks delightful.
When you say 'sleep out' does that mean a spare bedroom or a detached cottage or what?

12 Jan 2009 10:54am

@grouser: Thanks g:-) Its like a glorified shed I suppose. It has power points and room for a bed and tv and kettle, but you would use the facilities of the house. Some Kiwi homes have sleep outs that are self contained totally...seems to be the thing here.

Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United States

I know of 'sleep overs' but never heard the term 'sleep out'.
Nevermind, your sleep out is charming ... is it booked for the next two weeks?
I love your capture of it ... I'll take it!

12 Jan 2009 11:18am

@Judy: It is not booked but it is now for you:-) This site may help you to understand what a sleepout is. I had never heard of it before coming to NZ.
Thanks for your comment Judy:-)

Lesley from Lincoln, United States

Did you say a place for friends to stay?? ;)
I love this image! The roses give it such a charming, romantic feel. Almost looks like a print I'd hang on my guest room wall or some pretty stationery to send a thank you note on. Very pretty, Liners. I think I could enjoy curling up with a good book in that little "shed."

12 Jan 2009 12:08pm

@Lesley: Thanks Lesley...I will do it up just for you and other am3 friends who would like to stay:-) you are more than welcome:-)

Little sleep? Does that mean you have a separate cottage, apart from your house? It's beautiful. Lovely composition and colors!
