Christmas Day...the beach

Posted by Linerberry (Christchurch, New Zealand) on 28 December 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

It was a bit cloudy on Christmas Day and not terribly warm....I think the beach reflected the weather...few people in sight! It was nice for us Northern Hemisphere people down South...meant I could light the fire and be properly Christmas like:-)

"SILLY TUESDAY ANNOUNCEMENT"

Due to the Festive Season and Folks being busy, and hopefully silly, SILLY TUESDAY will return to full service on the 12th January 2010.
Until then...keep up the Silliness that has become Tuesday and keep thinking Silly thoughts as you take those Christmas and New Year shots!!!

Once again I would like to thank you all for the wonderful Silly Tuesday shots you have posted and to all who have commented.....it wouldn't work without YOU!!!! Thank you:-) from SILLY MAMA xx

Beautiful capture, doesnt look how I want to remember them on boxing day, used to be a family tradition a picnik at the beach on boxing day, and not sure if I was young and foolhardy then and didnt notice the cooler days or I just remember the warm times we were there

So used to winter, snow at Christmas not sure How I'd react to a walk on the beach, with an endless ocean.

I know the feeling. We were in the 80's, just two days ago, but happy that it was a tiny bit overcast and cooler on Christmas day. It's hard to feel Christmasy when you're barefoot.

I must admit that I'm a bit jealous that it's warm enough to be outside on Christmas there. Looks like a great place for a walk.
