Footpath to the hills

Posted by Linerberry (Christchurch, New Zealand) on 17 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Another Lake Ellesmere moment.
The foot path doesn't really go to the hills, it stops in the middle of the Lake!!

Beautiful colours, I really like how the line of the path leads our eyes to the hills that are disappearing into a hazy cloud. Really pretty landscape image!

Oh this is just beautiful. It reminds me of 'The Eagles' latest album title 'The Long Road Out of Eden'. And now I'll be singing that all day. By the way I love your window pics (if not just a tinsy jealous by it all) and the yellow leaf with the twinkles. Don't you ever do any work anymore!! Or do you just take your camera with you everywhere? I do occasionally see something nice to take a pic of on my way to work but of course I never have a camera with me. I suppose there in lies the answer to why I never have the good shots! Luv Ya! xx

@YouKnowWho: Thank you so much Sis-in-law:-) I do have my camera attached to my body most of the time...takes a bit of getting used to but great when it becomes part of you:-). Hope the song didn't get too annoying! Lovely to hear from you.
Love Ya too!!!

If it finishes in the middle of the lake it's more 'We're on a road to nowhere'.
How frustrating.
Can you paddle the rest?
Nice muted colours.

@grouser: Yeah, I'm not sure why that is! I guess you could swim:-)
