Grass reflections

Yesterday I had the best day out with 2 fellow Photography nuts!!! We took to the open road and found nature at its best! We had a picnic on the way, adored the scenery of Lake Ellesmere, marvelled at the bird life, waited for the sunset, talked cameras and generally had a wonderful evening, finishing off with a hot chocolate and marshmallows!!!
Don't forget****** "Silly Tuesday" ******where you can post anything that is silly, funny, daft or just makes you laugh!!!
For those of you that don't know the origin of Silly Tuesday here is a bit if a run down....It started on this day. My thoughts were as follows......
Monday is the start of the week...
Wednesday is the middle of the week.....
Thursday is nearly Friday and Friday is the start of the weekend:-)
I know some people work weekends as I am one of them:-)
But its still the weekend BUT......
What is Tuesday???? Its just a Silly Day that means nothing....so thats where ST came from:-)

This is a beautiful one. Lovely framing of the rippled surface of the water. Summons up a feeling of tranquility. Your day that you describe sounds fantastic.

B&W Liners... B&W. Great shot with reflection, how funny, the town of Ellesmere port is only minutes from where I am :)

Its funny how close we are to the UK here in NZ! But then thats colonisation for you:-)

You've got great eyes, that's a real good shot and spot.... however, I wonder if the picture would have been better without the grass, just reflection and water in fact...

Your description of yesterday is what it's all about ... finding common ground! This is a very dramatic image ... the shadows and ripples really make this one sing!
