Taylors Mistake BeachPosted by Linerberry (Christchurch, New Zealand) on 8 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This beach is about 45 minute walk over the hill from my house. I usually do the circular walk that takes 90 minutes. Can't wait for the weather to warm up...45 mins to the beach, a swim and a soak in the sun, then 45 mins home....bargain:-)) Don't forget****** "Silly Tuesday" ******where you can post anything that is silly, funny, daft or just makes you laugh!!! If you post on ST then leave a link on my page then others get to see your silliness:-) © C.J.C. Photography. All rights reserved.

(I was a bit of a tomboy, scampering over rocks and getting grubby was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon back then!). Funnily enough I never went back and have always wondered what it really looked like. I cant see the rocks I remember, but maybe the water level is high and they are covered? What beautiful green rolling hills, just gorgeous. Thanks for the walk down memory lane! 8 Oct 2008 9:53am @kylie: Glad it brought back good memories my friend:-) grouser from Ludlow, United KingdomI'm just about as green as that hillside .... 8 Oct 2008 10:16am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaHow lovely to walk that beach and regal us with its stunning beauty :) 8 Oct 2008 11:22am Alun Lambert from cheshire, United Kingdomlovely looking place, and to have it so close. i love beaches in the winter and when there's a storm 8 Oct 2008 4:23pm Anthony from Bielefeld, GermanyI can certainly see the resemblence liners. Two wonderful places so very far apart. That´s one of the great things on aminus, there are no distances and no borders. The other side of the world is just a mouse click away !! 8 Oct 2008 7:02pm @Anthony: Absolutely Anthony:-) willow from chelsea, United StatesThe colors are striking! Really lovely inviting beach scene, Linerberry. Roll on Summer! One of the great things I love about NZ is that you are never REALLY far from the sea. I think I'd get claustrophobic if I had to live too far from the ocean! 8 Oct 2008 9:16pm @Margie: Good ole MS, thanks mate:-) Good to meet you margie, wish I could blog watch you but I full up so will try and follow you. Love todays posting:-) Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomIsn't it sickening having a beautiful beach within walking distance from your home, the mersey will never be the same.
