The city starts to wake. The house you see in the centre in the Gardens is the Curators House, the original residence of the Curator of the Botanical Gardens built in 1920. It has kept its character but is now a restaurant (very nice food)

Don't forget****** "Silly Tuesday" ******where you can post anything that is silly, funny, daft or just makes you laugh!!!
For those of you that don't know the origin of Silly Tuesday here is a bit if a run down....It started on this day. My thoughts were as follows......
Monday is the start of the week...
Wednesday is the middle of the week.....
Thursday is nearly Friday and Friday is the start of the weekend:-)
I know some people work weekends as I am one of them:-)
But its still the weekend BUT......
What is Tuesday???? Its just a Silly Day that means nothing....so thats where ST came from:-)
Join in the Silliness:-)
Love Silly Mama:-)

If you post on ST then leave a link on my page then others get to see your silliness:-)

Monique from Koh Samui, Thailand

With this view I don't think I would work a lot ... it's stunning, especially the autumncolors of the trees make it almost like a painting! Your very lucky to work in such a place! Yesterdays picture is even more beautiful, because it looks like you work in the middle of nature and not in a city ;)

6 Oct 2008 9:33am

@Monique: Thank you so much Monique:-) It is actually Spring but tomorrow will be Autumn colours:-) Very similar!!

Anthony from Bielefeld, Germany

Good grief this one looks even more Autumnal than yesterdays. It looks less like Autumn here than that and it is here and ain't there. How very confusing. Beautiful colour.

@grouser: Hehehe very confusing i can tell lol. Honest it is Spring in this shot....maybe you will see the difference on the next day when it is actually an Autumn shot:-)

What an incredible view! I'm afraid I'd stare out the window all day and never get any work done. I like that you've contrasted the beauty of nature against the buildings of the city in this image. Nice composition.

6 Oct 2008 12:29pm

@willow: Thank you Willow:-) I am very often found staring out of the window but I think I mentioned to someone yesterday....I hear the patient shouting "Nurse" and I'm straight back to reality lol:-))
