Fun moment picture 29 Aug 2008 5:08am San G. from Encino, California, United StatesThanks for this great shot! The bird's wings remind me of tiles on a roof, and the eye is so beautifully colored. I purposefully avaoided looking at your home country. I guessed New Zealand because the bird was so exotic and yet sturdy ... "no messin' around!" Are there Bower Birds there too? Terrific shot, crisp and clear. 30 Aug 2008 6:28am @San G.: Thanks for visiting and your lovely comment. Well guessed NZ. I don't think we have Bowerbirds, they are mainly in Australia, I haven't come across them here. Jean-Michel from Brussels, BelgiumJust drying up ! I love that picture ! She has the same eyes color as a toucan I've seen in Brazil ! ;-) 5 Sep 2008 4:40pm |
