The shading from light to dark is a great attraction. 25 Aug 2008 1:13pm @JoeB: I praise you for your honesty joe:-) I'm glad you like it even if it made you think of a lettuce...lol :-) Isn't photography great! Anthony from GermanyI´m Welsh so I cant help loving Daffies,National flower and all that.Great shot. 25 Aug 2008 2:05pm @Anthony: Ahhh, it is therefore dedicated to you as from now!! Cheers Anthony! Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomPerfect shot of your lovely flowers with beautiful colors. To continue with Dj's winter weather, I remember hard frosts and snow, but we don't get that anymore, just winds and rain which is also what this summer has been like. Is this the dreaded global warming..? 25 Aug 2008 6:05pm @Observing: Or is global warming a conspiracy theory??? Oh no don't go there lol!!! Thanks for following Mike. I too remember really hard frosts in the North of England and we did used to get snow too. I think the last few years have been a bit milder from what people tell me. Christchurch here in NZ has has the most rain on record this winter, I do believe. Very odd but most welcomed due to water shortages last Summer. Anyhoo, rant over. thanks for your kind comments:-) |
