What Flower??

Just a little interlude after the snowboarding trip. Deciding where to go next with the photos....almost running out of goodies!! Need to get out there:-))))
Don't forget****** "Silly Tuesday" ******where you can post anything that is silly, funny, daft or just makes you laugh!!!
For those of you that don't know the origin of Silly Tuesday here is a bit if a run down....It started on this day. My thoughts were as follows......
Monday is the start of the week...
Wednesday is the middle of the week.....
Thursday is nearly Friday and Friday is the start of the weekend:-)
I know some people work weekends as I am one of them:-)
But its still the weekend BUT......
What is Tuesday???? Its just a Silly Day that means nothing....so thats where ST came from:-)

Oh I so know your dilema my friend, the need to get out there, what to shoot next LOL :o)! This is beautiful, I like how your use of DOF gives the feeling that this flower is actually popping out of a block of ice, the colours are very stiking and happy, what flower is it though I wonder! Great work girlfriend! Off you go, get out there, just go, you will find something wonderful to capture! :o)

@Kylie Greenan: Hay Kylie, good to have you back:-)) Glad I 'm not the only one with that dilema. Went out walking yesterday and had a good shoot around so hopefully ok for a wk or two. Its good to have this site to encourage me! Thanks for your lovely comments K, unfortunately I don't know what flower it is and have not had time to look it up. I'm sure someone will know out there.... Good to hear from you friend:-)

Many decades ago.... :0( the BBC used to have interludes (while they were changing the reels) and they'd have a picture of a flower just like yours, in BW of course. Thnx for the memory... not. lol. Wonder where those years went !!

You're not on you're own...I can remember the old B&W TV... what about testcard (I think thats how its spelt)??
