Snowboarding trip to Ohau #1. Lake TekapoPosted by Linerberry (Christchurch, New Zealand) on 9 August 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Inland and south of Christchurch, Tekapo is the best place to stop for a break on the way to Ohau. The Lake is stunning though the weather was against me to get a 'postcard' shot, I still liked the atmosphere here! Oh and a random leaning lamp post always helps:-)) Don't forget****** "Silly Tuesday" ******where you can post anything that is silly, funny, daft or just makes you laugh!!! If you post on ST then leave a link on my page then others get to see your silliness:-) © C.J.C. Photography. All rights reserved.

Very feeling of cold and stillness 9 Aug 2008 1:01pm @Observing: Why thank you kindly Mike:-)) It was incredibly cold and still that day! Badlydrawnboy from United StatesI like the way you've balanced the elements in the scene to create visual tension. As Observing said, there is a strong feeling of cold and stillness in the picture. 9 Aug 2008 2:24pm @Badlydrawnboy: Thank you for your kind comments, much appreciated:-) maxine from Rangiora, New ZealandC , this is really good the lampost makes it though, well done , It looks so cold and bleak as well as beautiful. 9 Aug 2008 2:35pm @maxine: Thanks Max:-)) tkbphotos from Salt Lake City, United StatesNicely done.
