"SILLY TUESDAY ANNOUNCEMENT"
Due to the Festive Season and Folks being busy, and hopefully silly, SILLY TUESDAY will return to full service on the 12th January 2010.
Until then...keep up the Silliness that has become Tuesday and keep thinking Silly thoughts as you take those Christmas and New Year shots!!!

Liners my friend, this is so great... it's like I watch you get better and better by the day, a wonderful composition here, the contrast of cool and dark colours is beautiful, so picturesque, peaceful... you should be very proud of this! On your comment the movie "postcard from the edge"... yes I had seen it and it was what came to mind when I gave the Opera House that title. Thanks for your lovely comments, glad you are home safe with all parts, including camera intact :o).. Have a great day!

@Kylie Greenan: Hay Kylie, what can I say....I really appreciate your encouraging comments. You are too kind. Its funny really, sometimes I look at a photo I put on the site and think "YES I've got it" (like this one) and then others I think are good I put on here and I think "Ooo thats a bit of a let down Liner". I just wish I could be a bit more consistent. Oops, I think I'm going through a doubting stage!!! All good for growth though eh! I have to learn to walk before I can run. The colors are really beautiful and the composition is great! Only thing that's a bit of a shame is the noise. Maybe you could process the photo in Neatimage? It will become only more beautiful!

Beautiful colors! I can hardly believe that such a large expanse of water is so still, that must have been a great evening to be out and about.

@Observing: Hi Mike, it was quite a mild evening as I remember. I drive home from work through Ferrymead and I just happened to have my camera with me this day and I swiftly pulled over for a quick shot:-))
