Beauty and the Beast (Lyttleton Harbour)

Hi Folks,
this is an image that I posted back in 2008 and I thought it was appropriate to post it again as Lyttleton was the epicentre of yesterdays devastating 6.3 earthquake here in Christchurch. The title is the same as it was in 2008 but this time I feel it suits it for a very different reason - the beast this time being uncontrolable and unpredicatable, taking lives and causing so much pain!
Sorry I haven't been around for a while, I do think of you all. Just been getting my life back together after Sept 4th and then this! Still, I am not alone and I am by no means the worse off. I am alive and have my friends. My heartfelt love goes out to all affected by this terrible frightening earthquake.
I will be returning to the UK in April - for a good while! So I hope to get posting again soon. XXX Thank you for this wonderful family! I'd forgotten how much you all keep me sane! XX

I miss your presence here, but today my heart is aching for all of you having to go through this horrible earthquake, with its loss of so many lives and the destruction it caused. I am sure you are counting the days until your departure. I send you my prayers!
